Nerthach Keely scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selyf Crocker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Gorlois Jarvis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porthcawl FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Bridgend the free kick. Gwevyl Brin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beli Goldthorpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Nerthach Keely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Selyf Crocker. Porthcawl FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nerthach Keely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Porthcawl FC's Selyf Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerthach Keely in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Porthcawl FC's zone, Bleddyn Knox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selyf Crocker came out of the goal and Bleddyn Knox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Selyf Crocker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nerthach Keely's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When UWA Bridgend's Nerthach Keely in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half UWA Bridgend were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Porthcawl FC's Beli Goldthorpe got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 minutes, Bogart Doran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porthcawl FC and the UWA Bridgend players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of UWA Bridgend booed when Porthcawl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogart Doran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nerthach Keely ran back to his position shaking his head. After 71 played minutes UWA Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Nerthach Keely. The supporters of Porthcawl FC booed when UWA Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avagdu Chadwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evrei Flanders didn't quite understand what happened when in the 74 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Nerthach Keely in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Selyf Crocker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th minute Pwyll Folds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selyf Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes UWA Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Pedr Huckaby. In the 90th minute, Anir Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porthcawl FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. UWA Bridgend's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedr Huckaby in the 96th minute. UWA Bridgend's Pedr Huckaby was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Selyf Crocker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nerthach Keely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Selyf Crocker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Porthcawl FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UWA Bridgend were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
