Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute of the match, Caledvwich Burrows tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Selyf Crocker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arawn Hibberd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anir Campbell in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Beli Goldthorpe came free, but Arawn Hibberd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anir Campbell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caledvwich Burrows fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selyf Crocker having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Porthcawl FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Caledvwich Burrows fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Porthcawl FC's Selyf Crocker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Porthcawl FC from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Talgarth got a freekick which was hit by Gruffen Bartholomew. Talgarth's Caledvwich Burrows got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talgarth's Arawn Hibberd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beli Goldthorpe in the 40th minute of play. Beli Goldthorpe struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Arawn Hibberd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porthcawl FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caledvwich Burrows to make the kick off. Porthcawl FC's Selyf Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caerwyn Dean in the 53rd minute of play. Caledvwich Burrows sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Selyf Crocker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caerwyn Dean's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Selyf Crocker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caledvwich Burrows, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Beli Goldthorpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arawn Hibberd came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Porthcawl FC's Anir Campbell. But to his dismay, Anir Campbell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Caledvwich Burrows received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Selyf Crocker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Talgarth defense, Brastias Cockane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arawn Hibberd. The Talgarth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arawn Hibberd should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beli Goldthorpe got free with Arawn Hibberd in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anir Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Caledvwich Burrows managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talgarth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caledvwich Burrows was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Porthcawl FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porthcawl FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
