Beaumaris Stadium
Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caledvwich Burrows in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melkin Dunn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brys Lindley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brys Lindley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arawn Hibberd firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of UWA Beaumaris booed when Talgarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irvin Hart didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Talgarth's Bedyw Keyes got a free kick in the 26th minute. Brys Lindley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arawn Hibberd having to interfere. Brys Lindley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Arawn Hibberd made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caledvwich Burrows during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Talgarth got a freekick which was hit by Caledvwich Burrows. After a defensive mix-up in Talgarth's zone, Brys Lindley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arawn Hibberd came out of the goal and Brys Lindley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nerth Chase made the kick off in the second half. When Nerth Chase came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the UWA Beaumaris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nerth Chase couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Brys Lindley came free, but Arawn Hibberd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Caerwyn Dean fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talgarth's protests and gave Caerwyn Dean a yellow card for diving instead. Caerwyn Dean hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Arawn Hibberd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerth Chase in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Caledvwich Burrows got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Caerwyn Dean came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Talgarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caerwyn Dean couldn't finish the play. If Caerwyn Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brys Lindley took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arawn Hibberd. Arawn Hibberd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. UWA Beaumaris were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Talgarth for a fine match.
