After a defensive mix-up in Aberystwyth FC's zone, Sel Kenna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfri Lattimore came out of the goal and Sel Kenna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Aberystwyth FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Wmffre Deanly hit a great ball. Gruddyeu Adrain kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Aberystwyth FC's Anfri Lattimore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sel Kenna in the 14th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Wmffre Deanly made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. UWA Maesteg's Rhyd Kilkelly tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cynbal Brody sped through UWA Maesteg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rhyd Kilkelly. Cynbal Brody could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rhyd Kilkelly made a huge save. Elphin Jagger hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Gleis Earley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gleis Earley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elphin Jagger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Rhys Hill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 51st minute of the match UWA Maesteg got a corner. Aberystwyth FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Heulyn Charlton ran over to the corner to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wmffre Deanly made the kick off in the second half. Gruddyeu Adrain hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Heulyn Charlton from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Anfri Lattimore's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sel Kenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aberystwyth FC's Gruddyeu Adrain got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Sel Kenna came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the UWA Maesteg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sel Kenna couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aberystwyth FC's goalkeeper Anfri Lattimore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. UWA Maesteg's Gleis Earley got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wmffre Deanly came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Aberystwyth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wmffre Deanly couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Garym Chandler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Maesteg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aberystwyth FC the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, UWA Maesteg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garym Chandler to maneuver through the defense. Rhyd Kilkelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wmffre Deanly, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The Aberystwyth FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Aberystwyth FC's Wmffre Deanly looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to UWA Maesteg getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Garym Farrelly hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Wren Knight sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rhyd Kilkelly skillfully saved the ball. Sel Kenna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfri Lattimore having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cynbal Brody in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhyd Kilkelly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Aberystwyth FC booed when UWA Maesteg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenyon Armstrong didn't get a good kick on the ball. UWA Maesteg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
