In the 12th minute, Gorlois Hetherington sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aberystwyth FC's Anfri Lattimore didn't even have to move. Anfri Lattimore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaughn Gilliland in the 15th minute of play. Vaughn Gilliland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfri Lattimore having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Aberystwyth FC's goalkeeper Anfri Lattimore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wren Fielding. If Cynbal Brody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aberystwyth FC's Wmffre Deanly in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
