Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bradwr Ivers kicked off to start the match. Mordwywr Gaoler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th match minute, Maesteg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tringad Coneely to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes UWA Talgarth got a freekick which was hit by Pwyll Forsyth. Bradwr Ivers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, UWA Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Bradwr Ivers came free, but Seren Hampton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peredur Gilfoyles short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Seren Hampton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. UWA Talgarth's Sulyen Cooper suffered a concussion after 27 minutes and had to leave the field. After 27 minutes, Aeddan Hewitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maesteg and the UWA Talgarth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aeddan Hewitt hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mordwywr Gaoler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lleu Kilpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mordwywr Gaoler struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Lleu Kilpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Talgarth. Wren Ackroyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lleu Kilpatrick having to interfere. Bradwr Ivers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seren Hampton having to interfere. When Prys Ingram fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Talgarth's protests and gave Prys Ingram a yellow card for diving instead. Prys Ingram kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Peredur Gilfoyle struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Seren Hampton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maesteg.

After a rather tough play, Maesteg's Eudav Laing got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Prys Ingram could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Lleu Kilpatrick made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Pryderi Bradley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maesteg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Talgarth the free kick. In the 58th minute, one of Maesteg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maesteg. In the 61st match minute, Maesteg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nerth Day to maneuver through the defense. Geraint Erwin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Seren Hampton. UWA Talgarth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peredur Gilfoyle in the 75th minute of play forced UWA Talgarth's goalkeeper Seren Hampton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seren Hampton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradwr Ivers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Maesteg's zone, Mordwywr Gaoler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lleu Kilpatrick came out of the goal and Mordwywr Gaoler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of UWA Talgarth booed when Maesteg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eudav Laing didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Maesteg's zone, Mordwywr Gaoler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lleu Kilpatrick came out of the goal and Mordwywr Gaoler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the UWA Talgarth players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maesteg.
