Rhisiart Saddler guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Porth's Rhisiart Saddler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hydd Frost in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Porth getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tomos Darwin hit a great ball. Llandudno Utd's Dirmyg Ive got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rhisiart Saddler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hydd Frost in the 38th minute of play. Merlin Adrain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyr Hazel having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Hydd Frost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dylan Ive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Llwyr Hazel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Puw Handley, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. But to his dismay, Puw Handley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dirmyg Ive who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Rhisiart Saddler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Llandudno Utd getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cadwgawn Kennett hit a great ball. Hydd Frost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Porth's Rhisiart Saddler got control of the ball when Dirmyg Ive tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomos Callaghan charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomos Callaghan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomos Callaghan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dirmyg Ive's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhisiart Saddler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play.
