After some careless play in the Porth defense, Wren Haugh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rhisiart Saddler. The Porth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rhisiart Saddler should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Llwyd Glennon during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Puw Handley struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Lavaine Budge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porth. Merlin Adrain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lavaine Budge having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Puw Handley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Puw Handley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Puw Handley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amhar Gill came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the UWA Bridgend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amhar Gill couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, UWA Bridgend's Wren Haugh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhisiart Saddler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Puw Handley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porth's supporters rose to their feet, but Puw Handley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lavaine Budge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the UWA Bridgend players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Porth.
