Caerwyn Bushfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odgar Fletcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odgar Fletcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caerwyn Bushfield having to interfere. Cairn Catley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Romney Gunning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caerwyn Bushfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhobert Godwin in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rhobert Godwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Parry Foster fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. A collision led to Legendary FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Modred Fischer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cairn Catley in the 64th minute of play forced Legendary FC's goalkeeper Romney Gunning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caerwyn Bushfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhobert Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Digon Donnelly struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Romney Gunning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caerleon. Waljan Bussey's late challenge caught a Caerleon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waljan Bussey helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Legendary FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Romney Gunning stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cairn Catley's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. A collision led to Legendary FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Morthwyl Asa hit a great ball.
