The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avagdu Muleskinner in the 3rd minute of play forced Barmouth Utd's goalkeeper Marrock Cumming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Tomos Coe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosa Nostra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barmouth Utd the free kick. In the 9th minute, Tomos Coe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Penn Donne in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marrock Cumming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cosa Nostra booed when Barmouth Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerawdwr Cockwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Amerawdwr Cockwell could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Awstin Canning however easily saved by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Amerawdwr Cockwell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomos Gladwin's late challenge caught a Cosa Nostra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomos Gladwin helped the player get up and apologised. Tomos Gladwin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Penn Donne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Awstin Canning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wren Faulkner, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avagdu Muleskinner to strike the kick off in the second half. Avagdu Muleskinner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marrock Cumming having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Avagdu Muleskinner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosa Nostra's supporters rose to their feet, but Avagdu Muleskinner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marrock Cumming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Penn Donne got free with Marrock Cumming in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cosa Nostra's zone, Wren Faulkner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Awstin Canning came out of the goal and Wren Faulkner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Barmouth Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Avagdu Muleskinner came free, but Marrock Cumming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Powell Bingley hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avagdu Muleskinner got free with Marrock Cumming in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosa Nostra's Awstin Canning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerawdwr Cockwell in the 71st minute of play. Awstin Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerawdwr Cockwell in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Tomos Coe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes, Alawn Yeoman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosa Nostra and the Barmouth Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card.
