When Llwyd Isard fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bangor's protests and gave Llwyd Isard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute Robat Coneely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Fishbourne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bangor's Calder Hamm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baudwin Francom in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Ely Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Robat Coneely came free, but Arthur Fishbourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robat Coneely was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Gwydre Freston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gwydre Freston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bangor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwydre Freston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Fishbourne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cant Korting kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Arthur Fishbourne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwydre Freston in the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bangor's Calder Hamm got control of the ball when Baudwin Francom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baudwin Francom came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Calder Hamm could save by the left post. Bwlch Yeoman hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ely Utd's zone, Gwydre Freston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Fishbourne came out of the goal and Gwydre Freston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 played minutes Bangor got a freekick which was hit by Renfrew Avery. Gleis Farmer charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gleis Farmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Ely Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baudwin Francom to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Baudwin Francom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ely Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 90th match minute, Bangor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cant Korting to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Baudwin Francom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calder Hamm. Bangor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baudwin Francom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
