Darius Allan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip McAuslan in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Phillip McAuslan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alloway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phillip McAuslan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kirriemuir's Darius Allan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip McAuslan in the 30th minute of play. Tyler McHarold succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Cameron Jamieson's late challenge caught a Alloway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cameron Jamieson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Steven Duncanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Phillip McAuslan made a precise shot to the right of Darius Allan. Kirriemuir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 46 minutes into the game, Stevie McEarachar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alloway's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirriemuir the free kick. In the 46th minute, Stevie McEarachar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Kirriemuir's Lucas Grieve ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremy Coulson. Jeremy Coulson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phillip McAuslan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darius Allan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phillip McAuslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55thth minute of the game Phillip McAuslan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kirriemuir's Darius Allan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruce McCrimmor's late challenge caught a Alloway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruce McCrimmor helped the player get up and apologised. Darius Allan came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Alloway's Tyler McHarold. But to his dismay, Tyler McHarold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Tyler McHarold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Darius Allan made a huge save. Tyler McHarold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darius Allan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip McAuslan in the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kirriemuir's Darius Allan got control of the ball when Tyler McHarold tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kirriemuir's Graham McGillegowie got a free kick in the 87th minute. Phillip McAuslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirriemuir's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Phillip McAuslan 98 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-5. The Kirriemuir supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alloway's performance. The match ended with a win for Alloway.
