In the 8th minute, Golden State Warriors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Simon Carmichael fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Simon Carmichael struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Paul Carrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria FC. 13 minutes into the game, Simon Carmichael lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Paul Carrick. Simon Carmichael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paul Carrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 25 in the game by Simon Carmichael from a close distance when the talented Paul Carrick managed to make a qualified save. Golden State Warriors's players were relieved. 28 minutes in the game, Nigel Abbott fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paul Carrick having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Golden State Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Clarkson. Alexandria FC's Ter Gow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Combie in the 37th minute of play. Davie Doig kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Ter Gow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fraser Combie in the 57th minute of the match. Nicholas Comine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reece Burns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Golden State Warriors booed when Alexandria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stuart Beattie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Reece Burns made a precise shot to the right of Ter Gow. Alexandria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Golden State Warriors booed when Alexandria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lloyd McRuer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Abbott in the 88th minute of play forced Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper Paul Carrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nigel Abbott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Carrick having to interfere. Golden State Warriors's Paul Carrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nigel Abbott in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Simon Carmichael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Carrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel Abbott in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alexandria FC had won after a very even match.
