Mc Dillon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reece Carmichael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cameron Tawesson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dunbar United booed when Mc Dillon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim McBain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthew McCasland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamish Hendry struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Larry McGown didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunbar United. After 58 played minutes Mc Dillon FC got a freekick which was hit by Cameron Tawesson. In the 61st minute, Jim McBain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dunbar United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
