Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tam McCrie kicked off to start the match. Sid Cross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin McInally having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tam McCrie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marc McCraken was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Tam McCrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sid Cross in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin McInally prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sid Cross had several of the Strathcarron City's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Quentin McInally as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 29th minute, Harold McCodrum made a precise shot to the right of Quentin McInally. Strathcarron City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tam McCrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc McCraken having to interfere. Shaun Purcell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaun Purcell in the 43rd minute of play forced Glasgow's goalkeeper Marc McCraken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sid Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After a rather tough play, Glasgow's Phil McBeth got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Marc McCraken was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Tam McCrie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tam McCrie really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When Tam McCrie came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Strathcarron City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tam McCrie couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Shaun Purcell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Harold McCodrum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glasgow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 70thth minute of the game Tam McCrie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glasgow's Marc McCraken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Sid Cross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin McInally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strathcarron City's Shaun Purcell got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shaun Purcell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Marc McCraken made a huge save. Harold McCodrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin McInally having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Strathcarron City's zone, Harold McCodrum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quentin McInally came out of the goal and Harold McCodrum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tam McCrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marc McCraken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Strathcarron City's Tam McCrie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marc McCraken. That made the score 3-2 after 94 minutes of play. Glasgow's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
