The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Rupert McMath put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Glasgow Football fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Murray McCansh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Alderson having to interfere. James Dunlop hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Oliver Simson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AC Glasgow Football's Frank Alderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Risk in the 23rd minute of play. Jeremy McPhorich hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Murray McCansh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frank Alderson. The goal made the score 2-0. Oliver Simson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Glasgow Football's James Dunlop got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Frank Alderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murray McCansh, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jeremy McPhorich kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Murray McCansh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Alderson having to make a save. After 64 minutes of play, Dunoon's Murray McCansh made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Alderson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Dunoon's Jacob Suttie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Alderson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Jacob Suttie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Suttie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jacob Suttie came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Dunoon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Suttie couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Murray McCansh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Alderson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Suttie struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Frank Alderson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunoon. Jacob Suttie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Frank Alderson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Murray McCansh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Alderson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dunoon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AC Glasgow Football for a fine match.
