An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig McGorry in the 8th minute of play forced BASXTHER UNITED FC's goalkeeper Brandon McQuire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, BASXTHER UNITED FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Fullarton to maneuver through the defense. Jason McKim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan McFeat in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Glennie saved Castle Rock Blue Knights from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Castle Rock Blue Knights got a freekick which was hit by Calum Landers. After having played for 19 minutes, Ivan McFeat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BASXTHER UNITED FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan McFeat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Owen McIlvride hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jason McKim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Craig McGorry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castle Rock Blue Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Craig McGorry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon McQuire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 minutes of play, Castle Rock Blue Knights's Jason McKim made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brandon McQuire was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jason McKim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Brandon McQuire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brandon McQuire was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Craig McGorry showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. After 43 played minutes Castle Rock Blue Knights got a freekick which was hit by Calum Landers. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Craig McGorry made the kick off in the second half. If Craig McGorry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Brandon McQuire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig McGorry in the 71st minute of play. Craig McGorry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig McGorry in the 79th minute of play forced BASXTHER UNITED FC's goalkeeper Brandon McQuire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Castle Rock Blue Knights booed when BASXTHER UNITED FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot McCutchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. BASXTHER UNITED FC's William Fullarton got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd play minute William Fullarton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Freddie Glennie. 2-1. Freddie Glennie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan McFeat in the 96th minute of play. Castle Rock Blue Knights's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
