A hard shot 16 in the game by Rory McRuer from a close distance when the talented Lewis Abbot managed to make a qualified save. Lossiemouth FC's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Arthur Carstarphen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 22 minutes, Lloyd Ferries managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lossiemouth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lloyd Ferries was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Munro Duilach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lewis Abbot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Carstarphen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Arthur Carstarphen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arthur Carstarphen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Arthur Carstarphen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 36th match minute, Lossiemouth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Munro Duilach to maneuver through the defense. Rory McRuer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lewis Abbot made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lloyd Ferries made a kick off. Lloyd Ferries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lossiemouth FC booed when Lybster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frankie Gunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gary McLeverty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Ferries in the 56th minute of the match. When Rory McRuer came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Lybster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rory McRuer couldn't finish the play. Vinny Aspin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gary McLeverty made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lossiemouth FC's Munro Duilach got a free kick in the 61st minute. Arthur Carstarphen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Abbot having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lossiemouth FC defense, Rory McRuer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lewis Abbot. The Lossiemouth FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lewis Abbot should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Lybster's goalkeeper Gary McLeverty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinny Aspin. Lewis Abbot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory McRuer in the 84th minute of the match. Keith Simon charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keith Simon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Keith Simon kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lossiemouth FC's zone, Arthur Carstarphen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Abbot came out of the goal and Arthur Carstarphen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
