In the 9th minute, Miles McGhee fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jake Robson, passed just outside the right post. Jake Robson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles McGhee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Pitlochry got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm McElfrish. In the 16th minute of the match Harry Deuchar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jake Robson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Barry Meine hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Edward Paton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Miles Carruthers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scotland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitlochry the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbie Abbott in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordan Bean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miles McGhee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miles McGhee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jake Robson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Simpson's late challenge caught a Scotland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Simpson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pitlochry's Paul Simpson got a free kick in the 39th minute. Barry Meine scored 1-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jake Robson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Scotland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Carruthers to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Miles McGhee made the kick off in the second half. Miles McGhee struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jake Robson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scotland. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graham Comine during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jordan Bean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim McVurich in the 63rd minute. If Tim McVurich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miles McGhee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jake Robson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordan Bean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim McVurich in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Pitlochry's Robbie Abbott sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordan Bean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taylor Dyer in the 79th minute of play forced Pitlochry's goalkeeper Jake Robson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Robson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Meine in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Scotland booed when Pitlochry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Lemond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taylor Dyer hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Miles Carruthers hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Barry Meine sped through Pitlochry's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jake Robson. Tim McVurich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Bean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Abbott, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Abbott in the 98th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Jordan Bean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
