Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Joshua Sorely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harold Fraser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Sorely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joshua Sorely who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Harold Fraser when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Joshua Sorely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corrour's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Sorely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harold Fraser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Steve McCammond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iain Hobson. Corrour's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve McCammond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With his leg Harold Fraser managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Corrour's Phil Ashmore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Harold Fraser made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Phil Ashmore sent off a good shot on target. Joshua Sorely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Fraser having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Logan McCanish mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celtic Rangers FC and the Corrour players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Celtic Rangers FC's Logan McCanish got a free kick in the 34th minute. Joshua Sorely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Fraser having to interfere. Iain Hobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Gregory in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norman Gregory made a kick off. Phil Ashmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Fraser having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phil Ashmore in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold Fraser saved Celtic Rangers FC from getting behind. Logan McCanish got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 65 played minutes Celtic Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Logan McCanish. In the 66th minute, Gareth Bayne sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Celtic Rangers FC's Harold Fraser didn't even have to move. Phil Ashmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Fraser having to interfere. After some careless play in the Celtic Rangers FC defense, Joshua Sorely kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harold Fraser. The Celtic Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harold Fraser should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Joshua Sorely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Phil Ashmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold Fraser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Sorely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Celtic Rangers FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Corrour.
