Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evan Ayson kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Rod Clyne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cromarty FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Jeremy Stark scored to the left of an out of position Freddie McOwl, making the score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Tighnabruaich United's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Ayson came free, but Shaun McCoull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Christie struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Shaun McCoull didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cromarty FC. Evan Ayson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun McCoull having to interfere. When Cromarty FC's Evan Ayson in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tighnabruaich United's goalie prevented a goal. Evan Ayson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evan Ayson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Shaun McCoull tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Evan Ayson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shaun McCoull was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Jack Christie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Shaun McCoull tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cromarty FC booed when Tighnabruaich United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gus Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Cromarty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evan Ayson to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy Stark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Freddie McOwl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Christie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jack Christie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 47 minutes, Evan Ayson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tighnabruaich United's Shaun McCoull tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jeremy Stark made the kick off in the second half. Evan Ayson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Evan Ayson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cromarty FC booed when Tighnabruaich United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Clayton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddie McOwl having to make a save. After 70 played minutes Tighnabruaich United got a freekick which was hit by Charlie McColman. Cromarty FC's Rod Clyne couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tighnabruaich United. If Evan Ayson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaun McCoull made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jack Christie sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Cromarty FC's zone, Ben Clayton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie McOwl came out of the goal and Ben Clayton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jack Christie took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shaun McCoull. Shaun McCoull dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Cromarty FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
