Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Greig Linklater kicked off to start the match. Lucas Dempster kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Benjamin Gilbertson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthony Limond's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brandon Cameron got free with Benjamin Gilbertson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Gilbertson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthony Limond went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Callum Corbet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nick McVey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Greig Linklater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nick McVey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Callum Corbet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick McVey having to interfere.

The wind increased when Anthony Limond made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Callum Corbet got free with Nick McVey in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greig Linklater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nick McVey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Riverside United F.C's Greig Linklater ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nick McVey. Nick McVey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Callum Corbet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nick McVey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Sunderland got a freekick which was hit by Jack Millar. Brandon Cameron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Benjamin Gilbertson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Sunderland's Nick McVey got control of the ball when Callum Corbet tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Sunderland fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Riverside United F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
