Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Keith Adams kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie McHutchen in the 3rd minute of play forced Drummore's goalkeeper Tyler Watt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Keith Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Leckie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calum Gunn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Paul Leckie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keith Adams in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Leckie saved DALLAS STARS from getting behind. The excitement rose when DALLAS STARS's Darren McIlleriach after 18 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Drummore's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. Drummore's Calum Gunn got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keith Adams in the 29th minute of play forced DALLAS STARS's goalkeeper Paul Leckie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Craig Garvie charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Craig Garvie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes DALLAS STARS got a freekick which was hit by Craig Garvie. Keith Adams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Leckie having to make a save. Paul Leckie was a little too slow when Keith Adams got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. After a rather tough play, DALLAS STARS's Craig Garvie got a free kick in the 41st minute. Paul Leckie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Keith Adams showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 44 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie McHutchen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Gordon McRury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Watt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ken Hutchenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in DALLAS STARS's zone, Calum Gunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Leckie came out of the goal and Calum Gunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie McHutchen struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tyler Watt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DALLAS STARS. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Calum Gunn sped through DALLAS STARS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paul Leckie. Keith Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Paul Leckie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric McIndeor during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Eric McIndeor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Calum Gunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Adams in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Leckie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Leckie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Adams in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DALLAS STARS's Craig Garvie got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ken Hutchenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Watt having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Drummore fully deserved thier win.
