Ian Charles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Raith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rob McKelloch fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crazy Monks F.C.'s protests and gave Rob McKelloch a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Crazy Monks F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rob McKelloch. Sean Raith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ian Charles made a huge save. The supporters of Dalmally booed when Crazy Monks F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Caddell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jacob King in the 17th minute really tested Ian Charles's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Dalmally booed when Crazy Monks F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Begg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthew Hay scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Charles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Marcus Harold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crazy Monks F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dalmally the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Crazy Monks F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Harold to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Raith in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Charles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Charles stood somewhat misplaced when Matthew Hay came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. In the 44th minute, Sean Raith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Charles was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sean Raith to strike the kick off in the second half. Ian Charles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Raith in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sean Raith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Charles was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Matthew Hay sped through Crazy Monks F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ian Charles. Sean Raith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Charles having to interfere. The supporters of Dalmally booed when Crazy Monks F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Begg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sean Raith came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Dalmally fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Raith couldn't finish the play. Ian Charles came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dalmally's Sean Raith. But to his dismay, Sean Raith quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After having played for 77 minutes, Sean Raith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalmally's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Raith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sean Raith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Charles having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Sean Raith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Charles. Crazy Monks F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sean Raith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Raith in the 88th minute of play forced Crazy Monks F.C.'s goalkeeper Ian Charles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Matthew Hay put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Charles. In the 94th minute, Sean Raith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Sean Raith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Charles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmally's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
