A collision led to PRIME UTD getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mike McCruithein hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Rob McLaren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy McNee showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gavin Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes, Lochailort's Rob McLaren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy McNee came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lochailort reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fergus Sorely got free with Tommy McNee in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, one of PRIME UTD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PRIME UTD. The goalkeeper, Tommy McNee, was totally fooled by Lochailort's Rob McLaren, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Lochailort booed when PRIME UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Davie didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Nixon in the 32nd minute of play forced PRIME UTD's goalkeeper Tommy McNee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronnie Dewar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liam Burk's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ronnie Dewar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Burk in the 42nd minute of the match. Gavin Adamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Dewar having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liam Burk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stevie Askey during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lochailort's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Liam Burk scored to the left of an out of position Ronnie Dewar, making the score, 1-1. With his leg Ronnie Dewar managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when PRIME UTD's Gavin Adamson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Liam Burk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jordan Nixon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lochailort's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordan Nixon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy McNee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82ndth minute of the game Liam Burk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lochailort's Ronnie Dewar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fergus Sorely came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Lochailort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fergus Sorely couldn't finish the play. If Gavin Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Burk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fergus Sorely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tommy McNee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
