When Dundee United Football's Bradley McFergus in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dangarous Devils's Mike McLagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Combie in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dundee United Football's Bradley McFergus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mike McLagan. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. If Tim McCook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradley McFergus got free with Mike McLagan in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bradley McFergus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike McLagan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jonathan Combie sent off a good shot on target. Mike McLagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley McFergus in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim McCook got free with Mike McLagan in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bradley McFergus was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Bradley McFergus made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dangarous Devils's Mike McLagan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bradley McFergus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent McGilchrist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 58th playminute. In the 64th match minute, Dangarous Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray McMillan to maneuver through the defense. Mike McLagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley McFergus in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Jonathan Combie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dundee United Football's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Combie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darius Elliott made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent McGilchrist in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Bradley McFergus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Mike McLagan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rdth minute of the game Tim McCook who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dangarous Devils's Mike McLagan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dangarous Devils's Mike McLagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley McFergus in the 85th minute of play. Tim McCook struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mike McLagan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dundee United Football. When the referee ended the match the Dundee United Football players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
