Spectators: 8057 (Terracing: 6044, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tyler Innes started the match with the kick off. Roddie McGuaran hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Guy Shaw sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronnie Dewar skillfully saved the ball. In the 10th minute, Theo Weaver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jordan Nixon came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lochailort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordan Nixon couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Argyll Highlanders got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Frew. Fergus Sorely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Evan McColman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fergus Sorely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyler Innes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronnie Dewar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Argyll Highlanders booed when Lochailort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Munro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Argyll Highlanders's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Nixon came free, but Evan McColman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ronan McElfrish hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Lochailort's Jordan Nixon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evan McColman narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jordan Nixon to strike the kick off in the second half. Lochailort's Jordan Nixon got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronnie Dewar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Weaver in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play Argyll Highlanders's Roddie McGuaran was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roddie McGuaran hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jordan Nixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evan McColman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Nixon in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Argyll Highlanders's Theo Weaver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Dewar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Theo Weaver struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ronnie Dewar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argyll Highlanders. Aidan McBaxter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nathan Frew kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The long shot by Rob McLaren in the 84th minute really tested Evan McColman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 88 minutes of play, Argyll Highlanders's Theo Weaver made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronnie Dewar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theo Weaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Dewar having to interfere. Theo Weaver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
