In the 16th minute, Rupert Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muir United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Muir United's Rupert Campbell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Stenhouse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some careless play in the Mallaig defense, Rupert Campbell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Stenhouse. The Mallaig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Stenhouse should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute of the match Jonathan Combie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Stenhouse skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jay McKellar in the 31st minute of play forced Mallaig's goalkeeper David Stenhouse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Graham Clement hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Rupert Campbell made a precise shot to the right of David Stenhouse. Mallaig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. David Stenhouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay McKellar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. David Stenhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Campbell in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Mallaig's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Campbell came free, but David Stenhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mallaig players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Muir United were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rupert Campbell to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Mallaig's David Stenhouse got control of the ball when Rupert Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Stenhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Campbell in the 63rd minute of the match. Rupert Campbell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, David Stenhouse skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Muir United's Fraser Buntain suffered a sore thigh after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jordan Buchanan's late challenge caught a Muir United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordan Buchanan helped the player get up and apologised. Muir United's Larry McLulich was substituted for Fraser Buntain. In the 65th minute, one of Mallaig:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mallaig. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Rupert Campbell sped through Mallaig's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Stenhouse. The crowd rose to their feet as Muir United's Jay McKellar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Stenhouse. That made the score 0-9 after 75 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the game, Jay McKellar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. David Stenhouse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Mallaig's Graham Clement got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Aidan Bunten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mallaig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muir United the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Mallaig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aidan Bunten to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th match minute, Muir United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Combie to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Mallaig's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Campbell came free, but David Stenhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg David Stenhouse managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Muir United's Rupert Campbell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. David Stenhouse came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Muir United's Rupert Campbell. But to his dismay, Rupert Campbell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Jay McKellar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Stenhouse. That made the score 0-12 in the 98 minute of play.
