Luke Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Duffie in the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Will Crombie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ian McMenzies was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the game, Keltic Academy's Hamish Combie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Duffie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Luke Hunter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Duffie succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil McTier in the 25th minute of play forced Keltic Academy's goalkeeper Luke Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brechin getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Grant Forster hit a great ball. Luke Hunter made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Neil McTier sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Keltic Academy's goalkeeper Luke Hunter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neil McTier. Neil McTier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luke Hunter having to make a save. Luke Hunter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil McTier in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Duffie made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Jonathan Duffie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greg Wilson charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greg Wilson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Keltic Academy got a freekick which was hit by Greg Wilson. Luke Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terence McKellaig in the 58th minute of the match. Neil McTier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Will Crombie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Neil McTier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brechin's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil McTier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Hunter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute of the game Ben Gilbertson made a throw-in which Jonathan Duffie played forward. Luke Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Duffie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Duffie in the 78th minute of the match. If Lucas Ainslie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terence McKellaig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luke Hunter having to make a save. Luke Hunter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neil McTier went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
