Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Les McFarlane got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Sam Hill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Stenhouse was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When Scott McNeiledge fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mallaig's protests and gave Scott McNeiledge a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mallaig's Scott McNeiledge got a free kick in the 8th minute. David Stenhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Hill in the 9th minute of the match. Owen Ellwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. David Stenhouse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Stenhouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Hill in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Les McFarlane in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Stenhouse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Terry McCay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Stenhouse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Les McFarlane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Dragons Academy got a freekick which was hit by Conor Tyre. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons Academy's zone, Munro McCombie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iain Hawes came out of the goal and Munro McCombie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Les McFarlane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Stenhouse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Dragons Academy's Terry McCay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Stenhouse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Hill in the 34th minute of play forced Mallaig's goalkeeper David Stenhouse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Owen Ellwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Stenhouse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Owen Ellwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Owen Ellwood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Stenhouse. Mallaig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Owen Ellwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scott McNeiledge to strike the kick off in the second half. Les McFarlane scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Stenhouse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Terry McCay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Stenhouse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Dragons Academy were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Mallaig's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Owen Ellwood took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Owen Ellwood got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Stenhouse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sam Hill charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sam Hill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Dragons Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Hill to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mallaig's David Stenhouse got control of the ball when Les McFarlane tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Dragons Academy's Owen Ellwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Stenhouse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 75th play minute Terry McCay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Stenhouse. 0-9. David Stenhouse was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Sam Hill capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sam Hill really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Sid Fyfe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lloyd Lawrie hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dragons Academy's Sam Hill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Stenhouse. That made the score 0-11 after 86 minutes of play. David Stenhouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Owen Ellwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Les McFarlane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Stenhouse. Mallaig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Les McFarlane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Sam Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Stenhouse having to interfere. Les McFarlane scored 0-13 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Stenhouse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
