The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Will Gillanders got free with Keith Scotland in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keith Scotland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor Joó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Floodish FC booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Gillanders didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lord of the Wings's Wally Casey managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jonathan McDaniell in the 12 minute of the game. Ron McGrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Enrick in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Floodish FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sam Fletcher hit a great ball. Floodish FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Arthur McIlreach scored to the left of an out of position Keith Scotland, making the score, 1-0. Lord of the Wings's Ron McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Enrick in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Lord of the Wings were awarded a corner. Will Gillanders went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24th minute, Will Gillanders sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Floodish FC's Keith Scotland didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Lord of the Wings defense, Blair McClure kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ron McGrath. The Lord of the Wings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ron McGrath should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Floodish FC's goalkeeper Keith Scotland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gábor Joó. Gábor Joó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Keith Scotland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Joó in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Floodish FC's goalkeeper Keith Scotland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur McIlreach. 38 minutes into the match, Floodish FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gábor Joó came free, but Keith Scotland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gábor Joó was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Will Gillanders hit a great ball. Johnny Davies short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Ron McGrath to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Keith Scotland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur McIlreach in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Arthur McIlreach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floodish FC's Keith Scotland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lord of the Wings were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Floodish FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Chaime took the corner. The corner led Lord of the Wings's Rolando Chaime to fire away a dangerous shot which Keith Scotland despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur McIlreach in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keith Scotland saved Floodish FC from getting behind. Ron McGrath stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paddy McNeish's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Lord of the Wings's Ron McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo McNeish in the 76th minute of play. When Theo McNeish got free in front of the goal in the 77th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ron McGrath was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wally Casey hit a great ball. Keith Scotland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Joó in the 81st minute of the match. Keith Scotland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gábor Joó in the 83rd minute of play. Keith Scotland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Joó, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Gábor Joó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron McGrath came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Floodish FC's Paddy McNeish. But to his dismay, Paddy McNeish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Floodish FC's Jonathan McDaniell got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Floodish FC's Keith Scotland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gábor Joó in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
