SC Aveia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Cardoso in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Pedroso saved SC Oleiros from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Pedro Cardoso lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated António Pedroso. The audience was convinced that Pedro Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Pedroso was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Vítor Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes SC Aveia got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Viegas. Delfim Barbosa's late challenge caught a SC Aveia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes SC Oleiros got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Barbosa. Artur Sousa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Aveia's Cândido Lopes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. SC Oleiros's António Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Cardoso in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Pedro Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Oleiros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There was no doubt that SC Aveia were the better team. SC Aveia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
