An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Igrejas in the 8th minute of play forced Vera's goalkeeper Catarino Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tomás Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canelas 2010's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Vera got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Dias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Dias in the 66th minute of play forced Canelas 2010's goalkeeper Sandro Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canelas 2010's Sandro Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Dias in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Canelas 2010 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Dias to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Dias's late challenge caught a Vera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Dias helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vera booed when Canelas 2010 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, Vera's Joaquim Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandro Passos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vera reached it. Pedro Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Catarino Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristóvão Matias struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sandro Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vera. Sandro Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Matias in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Francisco Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sandro Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Igrejas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Pinho having to interfere.
