One of Fato:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vagos FC:s goal. 3-0 came through a penalty shot after 39 played minutes, when Vagos FC:s Amadeu Fonseca calmly waited for Fato:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Raul Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Pires having to make a save. Humberto Pires stood somewhat misplaced when Amadeu Fonseca came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
