When António Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the pré reformado quase FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Queirós couldn't finish the play. pré reformado quase FC's Hélder Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Hélder Leão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lamacais's Hermínio Cerqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 minutes of play, pré reformado quase FC's Hélder Leão made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermínio Cerqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermínio Cerqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 33 played minutes Lamacais got a freekick which was hit by Angélico Figueiredo. Hélder Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hélder Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélder Leão to make the kick off. Hildeberto Neves hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Hélder Leão struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hermínio Cerqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pré reformado quase FC. When Francisco Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the pré reformado quase FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Setúbal couldn't finish the play. Hélder Leão struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Hermínio Cerqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pré reformado quase FC. Francisco Setúbal came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hermínio Cerqueira could save by the left post. If António Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Valido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Luz having to interfere. Hélder Leão had several of the Lamacais's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Hermínio Cerqueira as he didn't even see the shot coming. António Queirós struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hermínio Cerqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pré reformado quase FC. If Hélder Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. pré reformado quase FC played a much better game than Lamacais and deserved their victory. The Lamacais players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
