Gaspar Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caveira's Gaspar Silveira got a free kick in the 16th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Caveira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Terruge:s goal. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Terruge. Bento Nogueira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Caetano Guerra. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Santos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Terruge's goalkeeper Eusébio Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascoal Igrejas. Eusébio Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Avelar in the 27th minute of the match. If Rafael Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jorge Santos sped through Caveira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caetano Guerra. 37 minutes into the match, Rafael Teixeira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Caveira's Caetano Guerra. Caetano Guerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafael Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Guerra having to interfere. Caetano Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Santos in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Ferro in the 46th minute of play forced Terruge's goalkeeper Eusébio Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Santos was the one to do the kick off. Terruge's Jorge Santos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 51st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Caetano Guerra was a little too slow when Rafael Teixeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-5. After 58 minutes, Jorge Santos made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Caveira's Caetano Guerra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Guerra was a little too slow when Jorge Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. Caveira's Kevin Avelar got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terruge's Eusébio Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder lago in the 93rd minute of play. Caetano Guerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Santos's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
