When Cândido Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Estalagem FC fans jumped to their feet. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Ferrão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristóvão Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germano Ferrão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Germano Ferrão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Vieira in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Estalagem FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
