The crowd rose to their feet as SC Guimarães's Sandro Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacob Seixas. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 15th match minute, A.D.PEDROSO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolau Esparteiro to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Seixas having to interfere. Domingos Bessa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. SC Guimarães's Augusto Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 36 in the game by Sandro Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Jacob Seixas managed to make a qualified save. A.D.PEDROSO's players were relieved. Sandro Azevedo in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacob Seixas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
