Guarda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiva- Axantrazada the free kick. The supporters of Lokomotiva- Axantrazada booed when Guarda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Laureano was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Bentes in the 84th minute of play forced Guarda FC's goalkeeper Caio Quintela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lucas Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Guarda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Mendes couldn't finish the play. Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Edgar Laureano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiva- Axantrazada from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Renato Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Guarda FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guarda FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
