If Olívio Carmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team's Honorato Rangel got a free kick in the 7th minute. Filip De Wilde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Pádua's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Guarda FC's Cândido Ornelas got a free kick in the 11th minute. Caio Quintela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Unciuleanu's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Pereira. After having played for 17 minutes, Răzvan Unciuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Unciuleanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simão Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip De Wilde having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Guarda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Unciuleanu came free, but Caio Quintela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fryderyk Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Quintela having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Unciuleanu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Quintela saved Guarda FC from getting behind. Lucas Mendes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team's Filip De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Pádua in the 29th minute of play. If Severino Pádua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Severino Pádua came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Guarda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Pádua couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team's goalkeeper Filip De Wilde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Bezerra. Caio Quintela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Carmo in the 40th minute of play. Simão Bezerra's late challenge caught a ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. Simão Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Simão Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Filip De Wilde made a huge save. In the 49th minute of the match Guarda FC got a corner. ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusébio Barroso ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fernando Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Caio Quintela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fryderyk Konieczny in the 57th minute. Răzvan Unciuleanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Caio Quintela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Severino Pádua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Simão Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Guimarães was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th match minute, Guarda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes, Răzvan Unciuleanu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Guarda FC's Caio Quintela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Guarda FC's zone, Olívio Carmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio Quintela came out of the goal and Olívio Carmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team's Filip De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Bezerra in the 78th minute of play. Filip De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Olívio Carmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Quintela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Filip De Wilde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarda FC. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Răzvan Unciuleanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Guarda FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Eusébio Barroso hit a great ball. Paulo Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Caio Quintela made a huge save. When the match was over ¨¨NOGU&IRA¨¨team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guarda FC throughout the match.
