After a rather tough play, Alventela FC's Jaime Almeida got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alventela FC's Filipe Carvalhal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Alventela FC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Candal struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Filipe Carvalhal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Apressados. Sandrinho Lackey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Carvalhal having to make a save. Sandrinho Lackey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Filipe Carvalhal made a huge save. David Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Filipe Carvalhal made a huge save. David Reis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filipe Carvalhal came out and tried to block the shot, but David Reis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Idalécio Cabral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filipe Carvalhal. Idalécio Cabral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Arturo Navarro charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Navarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Caetano in the 38th minute of play forced SC Apressados's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Idalécio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Carvalhal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, SC Apressados's Sandrinho Lackey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filipe Carvalhal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. SC Apressados made a substitution. Silvano Quintela replaced Rafael Severiano. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomás Caetano made the kick off in the second half. Silvano Quintela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Filipe Carvalhal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Idalécio Cabral went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Henrique Brás fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Apressados's protests and gave Henrique Brás a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Apressados's Arturo Navarro got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 91 played minutes Alventela FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Almeida. Sandrinho Lackey might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Carvalhal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandrinho Lackey ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 minutes of play SC Apressados's Henrique Brás was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th match minute, SC Apressados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Brás to maneuver through the defense.
