GDPortel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Óscar Sacramento scored to the left of an out of position António Queiroga, making the score, 3-2. When Niall Legzdins came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the GDPortel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niall Legzdins couldn't finish the play. GDPortel were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gondiais for a fine match.
