Paulo Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 5 minutes of play, ChicanaFC's Pedro Paiva made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Santos having to interfere. Paulo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micael França in the 9th minute of the match. Pedro Paiva took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Santos. Paulo Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luso's Paulo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micael França in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, ChicanaFC's Higino Salgueiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Pedro Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Santos having to interfere. Walery Hoffman scored 0-5 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Micael França took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Santos. Paulo Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Manuel Salvado hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Paulo Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higino Salgueiro's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Pedro Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Santos. Luso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Paulo Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Hoffman went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Walery Hoffman scored 0-10 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in ChicanaFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! A collision led to ChicanaFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Higino Salgueiro hit a great ball. After the first half ChicanaFC were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Paulo Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micael França went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcino Esteves in the 59th minute of play forced ChicanaFC's goalkeeper António Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Rubim Bandeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Paulo Santos made a huge save. Walery Hoffman scored 0-13 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micael França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Walery Hoffman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Santos. Walery Hoffman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. 72 minutes into the match, Higino Salgueiro notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Luso's Paulo Santos. Paulo Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ChicanaFC made a substitution. Rui Graça replaced Gervásio Valentim. Luso's Paulo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micael França in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Luso's goal looked a bit too open when Micael França came free, but Paulo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Luso's Hugo Montenegro got a free kick in the 81st minute. ChicanaFC made a substitution. Heitor Fonseca replaced Pedro Paiva. Luso's Paulo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Luso from getting a goal against them. Paulo Santos came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by ChicanaFC's Heitor Fonseca. But to his dismay, Heitor Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Heitor Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Santos having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Luso's goal looked a bit too open when Higino Salgueiro came free, but Paulo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
