Spectators: 8126 (Terracing: 6096, Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 161) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alcino Esteves started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Borlas's Cláudio Domingues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Santos. Paulo Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 7 minutes, Alcino Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luso and the Borlas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Luso got a freekick which was hit by Alcino Esteves. Paulo Santos came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Borlas's Cláudio Domingues. But to his dismay, Cláudio Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Paulo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Luso getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marcos Morais hit a great ball. Paulo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Luso's Paulo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Espírito Santo in the 16th minute of play. Paulo Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Domingues in the 18th minute. Augusto Ramos had several of the Luso's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Paulo Santos as he didn't even see the shot coming. With an all-out effort, Borlas's Paulo Santos threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augusto Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cláudio Domingues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Paulo Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Luso defense, Cláudio Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Santos. The Luso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Santos should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Borlas's Cláudio Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 35 minutes into the match, Luso's goalkeeper Paulo Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Baldaia. Luso's Paulo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Luso from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute of the match, Cláudio Domingues got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Santos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Augusto Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Luso booed when Borlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Serafim Baldaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Cláudio Domingues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borlas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Paulo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidónio Assunção in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Cláudio Domingues put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Santos. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Luso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexandre Barroso was slow to take the kick. During this time Borlas's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Borlas's corner Alexandre Barroso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Santos quite easily take care of the ball. Paulo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Baldaia in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Augusto Ramos made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Luso's Paulo Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Domingues in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Augusto Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borlas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 74 minutes into the game, Cláudio Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Paulo Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, Borlas's Cláudio Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Sidónio Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Aldo Prada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Baldaia in the 88th minute of the match. Cássio Lameirinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Lameirinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Luso getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cássio Lameirinhas hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Cláudio Domingues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borlas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 15-0. Sidónio Assunção scored 16-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Borlas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
