Lourenço Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Alcântara in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, SC Longasd's goalkeeper Osvaldo Raposo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Antunes. When SC Longasd's Valério Alcântara in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TORRESIBA's goalie prevented a goal. Lourenço Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valério Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Diamantino Figueiras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osvaldo Raposo. The goal made the score 1-1. After 21 minutes of play, TORRESIBA's Afonso Antunes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Raposo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valério Alcântara in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lourenço Pinheiro saved TORRESIBA from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Valério Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lourenço Pinheiro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as TORRESIBA's Diamantino Figueiras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osvaldo Raposo. That made the score 4-1 after 44 minutes of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Valério Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TORRESIBA's Lourenço Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valério Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Valério Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Longasd defense, Kevin Anjos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Raposo. The SC Longasd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Raposo should have stopped the shot. SC Longasd's Osvaldo Raposo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Antunes in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to SC Longasd getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Graciano Torcato hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Cyryl Kendra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TORRESIBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Longasd the free kick. There was no doubt that TORRESIBA were the better team. TORRESIBA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
