After a rather tough play, PauGrande's Anselmo Valente got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th match minute, Antoninhos do Condado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Ponte to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Antoninhos do Condado's Maksim Púntov tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Mateus Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Soares in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Antoninhos do Condado's Micael Gaspar got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Antoninhos do Condado's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Menezes came free, but André Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Pedro Menezes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimas Vilalobos in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Pedro Menezes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. André Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute, Edgar Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Maksim Púntov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antoninhos do Condado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksim Púntov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateus Belo to make the kick off. Domingos Gusmão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Belo in the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Pedro Menezes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Ribeiro was a little too slow when Igor Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-4. André Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Menezes in the 66th minute of play. Norberto Soares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but André Ribeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mateus Belo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Gusmão. Domingos Gusmão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The supporters of PauGrande booed when Antoninhos do Condado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Micael Gaspar hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Maksim Púntov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Gusmão having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Mateus Belo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Domingos Gusmão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Cordeiro during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PauGrande booed when Antoninhos do Condado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Pedro Menezes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PauGrande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Menezes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Soares got free with André Ribeiro in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoninhos do Condado's André Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Santos in the 89th minute of play. The Antoninhos do Condado supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PauGrande's performance. The match ended with a win for PauGrande.
