Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mário Miranda made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cândido Cortez in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Madeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odeleite F.C's Vicente Madeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Cortez in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Odeleite F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Coelho came free, but Vicente Madeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Américo Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manhente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Adalberto Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Madeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cândido Cortez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Odeleite F.C defense, Rubim Peralta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Madeira. The Odeleite F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Madeira should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute Rubim Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Madeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Odeleite F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Coelho came free, but Vicente Madeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Laureano Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Américo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homero Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Madeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Homero Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Cândido Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Madeira was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cândido Cortez made the kick off in the second half. André Telinhos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vicente Madeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Américo Coelho rounded Odeleite F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. André Telinhos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Cândido Cortez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Vicente Madeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Cândido Cortez sped through Odeleite F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente Madeira. Cândido Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Vicente Madeira made a huge save. Rubim Peralta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Madeira having to make a save. The Odeleite F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manhente FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
