Vladimiro Infante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Infante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Vidal having to make a save. Vladimiro Infante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lourenço Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. If Fábio Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, FC Nação Portuguesa's Vladimiro Infante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lourenço Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Fábio Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Vladimiro Infante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lourenço Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Infante in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lourenço Vidal saved Pinzio from getting behind. Lourenço Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fábio Furtado went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Pinzio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Nação Portuguesa were winning 0-3.

After a rather tough play, FC Nação Portuguesa's Vladimiro Infante got a free kick in the 51st minute. Romão Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Nação Portuguesa's Viriato Graça got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lourenço Vidal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fábio Furtado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. Osvaldo Pegado hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, FC Nação Portuguesa's Joaquim Assis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The supporters of FC Nação Portuguesa booed when Pinzio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pádua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lourenço Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Romão Teixeira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lourenço Vidal. Romão Teixeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romão Teixeira in the 82nd minute of play forced Pinzio's goalkeeper Lourenço Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Infante went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. A hard shot 87 in the game by Vladimiro Infante from a close distance when the talented Lourenço Vidal managed to make a qualified save. Pinzio's players were relieved. Josué Sales might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Lousada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josué Sales ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Vidal having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Nação Portuguesa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
