Valdemar Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Moreira in the 10th minute of play. Ciccio Mascia scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Beira Mar SC's Joélson Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipólito Amado in the 18th minute of play forced sdasdasd's goalkeeper Valdemar Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, sdasdasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Simões to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar Antunes came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Beira Mar SC's David De Boeck. But to his dismay, David De Boeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Ciccio Mascia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to sdasdasd getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Donato Vilanova hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, sdasdasd's Laércio Alvarenga got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, sdasdasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Alexandre Torcato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Antunes came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Beira Mar SC's Ciccio Mascia. But to his dismay, Ciccio Mascia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ademar Figueiras to make the kick off. When Alexandre Torcato came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Beira Mar SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Torcato couldn't finish the play. sdasdasd's Valdemar Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David De Boeck in the 55th minute of play. Valdemar Antunes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciccio Mascia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. Sálvio Vilas Boas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfírio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Beira Mar SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Mascia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laércio Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laércio Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Laércio Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes in the game Raul Simões did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Telmo Carreira. When the match was over Beira Mar SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than sdasdasd throughout the match.
