After 8 played minutes Stardrust got a freekick which was hit by Yoann Briffaut. Gaspar Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Olăroiu having to interfere. Gaspar Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionică Olăroiu having to make a save. Reinaldo Queiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, Stardrust's Gaspar Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ionică Olăroiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stardrust reached it. If Yoann Briffaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Sheets in the 25th minute of play forced Stardrust's goalkeeper Răzvan Uncheşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Diego Rocha in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Stardrust's Reinaldo Gusmão. Răzvan Uncheşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Sheets in the 31st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Brito was the one to do the kick off. Ionică Olăroiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Pato Bravo FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedro Assunção hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Yoann Briffaut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionică Olăroiu was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Stardrust's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Gaspar Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Olăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Pato Bravo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adélio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Stardrust booed when Pato Bravo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yoann Briffaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Pato Bravo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Brito came free, but Ionică Olăroiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Pato Bravo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Queiroga to maneuver through the defense. Yoann Briffaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionică Olăroiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Gaspar Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stardrust's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gaspar Brito came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Stardrust fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Brito couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pato Bravo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stardrust.
